Here are some of the questions we are most frequently asked.
A: Click on one of the links on the homepage to navigate to the airport where you want to book, then fill in the online booking form. An email will automatically be sent to us with your booking details, and we will contact you via email with details of your booking.
A: The basic insurance that you get with Blue Valley Car Hire (and most hire companies) is 3rd party with an excess figure to pay on any damage caused to your hire or if it is stolen. The excess amount depends on the car type .e. the group. CDW insurance protects you in the event of damage to your own car or theft, i.e.you are not liable to pay the excess figure. CDW is optional, and can be selected when you fill in the online booking form.
A: For busy periods it is always advisable to book early. There were car shortages in Portugal and Spain last summer (2009), and demand and supply meant that prices increased for people who booked at the last minute.
A: When you collect your car (or when it is delivered to your holiday accomodation). We take no money in advance, but we do ask you to inform us if you no longer require the vehicle. Payment is usually via credit card. It is also possible to pay in cash if preferred.
A: Cash payments are accepted, but without the CDW insurance it will be necessary to leave a cash deposit to cover the CDW excess figure.
A: For long-term rentals or bookings of more than 1 car we may be able to offer reductions. Call us on our UK number to discuss.
